Terms and Conditions of Stay

1. STRICT NO SMOKING POLICY– HERISTAYS Apartments is a Non-Smoking accommodation. Please note that smoking is not permitted anywhere within the building. Guests may be asked to leave or removed from the building without prior notice if this rule is flouted. Use of Candles for any reason is also not permitted.

2. IDENTIFICATION ON CHECK IN: Please provide a government Identification (International Passport or Voters Card) before you check in. We are unable to allow anyone without identification into our apartments.

3. NUMBER OF GUESTS IN EACH APARTMENT:

One Bedroom: The number of guests sleeping in each apartment must not be more 2 ( two). Apart from 2 adults only one ( 1) child under the age of 3 ( three years) is allowed in the apartment.

Two Bedroom: The number of guests sleeping in each apartment must not be more than 4 ( Four) in total.

If you are a larger group of more than four you must use more than one apartment. For safety reasons, please do not EXCEED the number of people per apartment.

4.COVID-19 PREVENTION MEASURES: We require all guests at the facility to keep their masks on while entering the building and while in any of the common areas. Temperature checks will also be taken at the gate. Masks may only be taken off within your apartment. We also request that you make use of the hand sanitizer at the reception area before proceeding into the building.

5. NO LOUD MUSIC, PARTIES OR NOISE: Loud music or noise or parties in the apartments is NOT ALLOWED at any time. Quiet hours are also observed from 9pm- 8am, Monday- Sunday. This means we ask our guests to be quiet as a courtesy to other guests in the building.

6. NO PETS of any kind are allowed into the building.

7. ELECTRICITY USAGE: Each apartment is allocated a reasonable electricity allowance. However, should there be an excessive usage of electricity emanating from your apartment, a surcharge will be applied. Thus, we advise that large electrical equipment such as AC’s should be turned off when you are leaving your apartment.

PLEASE TURN OFF ALL ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES AIR CONDITIONERS AND ELECTRIC COOKER BEFORE LEAVING YOUR APARTMENT.

8. CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT: Check in time is from 2:00pm while guests must check out on or before 12 Noon.

9. LIABILITY FOR GUEST’S LOST OR DAMAGED PROPERTY: Unless negligence is established in a court of law, HERISTAYS Apartments will not be held liable for guests or their visitors lost missing or damaged property. Guests are advised to keep their valuables with them at all times and their rooms locked when not around. Cars parked within the premises are at owners risk.

10. LIABILITY FOR HERISTAYS’S LOST OR DAMAGED PROPERTY: The guest is responsible for taking reasonable care of the apartment and its contents while staying at HERISTAYS  Apartments. Except in the case of normal wear and tear, you are responsible for any damage to the apartment or its contents during your stay which has occurred due to wilful negligence, default or irresponsible behaviour on the part of yourself or any of those staying in your apartment and charges will be applied. Please report any damage to the Guest relations manager immediately.

11. HERISTAYS Apartments and the Guest agree that strictly NO TENANCY RIGHTS accrue as a result of the usage of the property.

OTHER

I. The use of any HERISTAYS Apartments for the purpose of conducting business of any kind, without the consent of HERISTAYS Management, is expressly forbidden.

II. The Guest shall do nothing in the accommodation which is a breach of the law and shall conduct themselves appropriately at all times.

III. Full Payments are required in advance for all reservations. In the event that a part payment has been made to secure a reservation, the balance in full shall be required on arrival before check in.

IV. The Guest shall not at any stage cause a nuisance of any kind or behave in an anti-social manner to fellow guests or staff members.

V. HERISTAYS Apartments grants the use of its property solely for appropriate, legal, personal use.

VI. Guests are responsible for their visitors behaviour.

VII. The Guest may not re-let/sublet the apartment to any other third party.

VIII. HERISTAYS Apartments reserve the right to refuse a Customer entry and

accommodation if, on arrival Management reasonably considers that the guest is under the

influence of drink or drugs, is unsuitably dressed, or is behaving in a threatening, abusive, or otherwise unacceptable manner.
